JOIN US BY:

 

*Becoming a PRAP volunteer –volunteers accompany and/or tranport clients to bus stations and airports in the San Francisco Bay Area. You don't need to be bilingual in order to volunteer.

*Providing temporary housing for a PRAP Client. 

 

*Hosting Information Sessions: presentations at your home, office or church on mass incarceration & immigration detention and our work!

*Donating Below

*Providing for our post release care kit. Kits include the following: 
 

Clothing: Please compile packs with a variety of sizes (Small, Medium, and Large) for both men and women.​

  • 1 jogging suit (sweatpants and sweatshirt)

  • 1 T-shirt

  • socks

  • underwear

Personal Hygiene Kits: Please put these items in a 1 gallon-sized closable plastic bag.

  • washcloth

  • toothbrush (new)

  • small toothpaste

  • small shampoo/conditioner

  • soap

  • razor

  • small shaving cream

  • comb

  • deodorant

  • small body lotion

  • female sanitary napkins (for Female packs only)

  • shoelaces

Miscellaneous:​

  • 2 granola bars/snacks

  • Juice or water

These items should be compiled in backpacks or small duffel bags. Please mark them with a label stating “Male” or “Female” and also the clothing size “Small, Medium, or Large”. Once the packs are compiled, please call Evelyn Fabian, PRAP coordinator, at 650.822.7727 to arrange the drop off of donations.
